Discover the region at your own pace
Especially in September, the area around the park is an absolute must for those who like to get out and relax. Now that the major vacation flows have subsided, you have plenty of room to discover the nature and culture of the region. Get on your bike for a beautiful route along the castles and vast forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, or stroll at your leisure through the historic streets of nearby towns like Wijk bij Duurstede and Culemborg. After an active day, settle down on a cozy terrace for a good glass of wine or a sumptuous dinner, without having to make reservations anywhere.
